Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will be immersed in the growth engine of the company. You’ll support lead generation, market research, partner outreach and sales strategy execution — gaining hands-on exposure to how a startup scales business development activities. Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities: target industries, potential clients, competitive landscape. volvero+1
Prospect and qualify leads: build and maintain lists of potential clients or partners; identify key decision-makers. workscreen.io+1
Support outreach campaigns: draft personalized emails, assist with LinkedIn messaging, track response metrics. Economics Department+1
Maintain and update CRM or data-tracking systems (e.g., update prospect status, log outreach outcomes) to help the team stay organised and performance-driven. workscreen.io+1
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and business-development materials, including partner decks or internal growth reports. EU-Startups
Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, product, operations) to align go-to-market efforts, refine value propositions, and iterate based on early results. volvero+1
Track and report on key metrics: outreach performance, pipeline progression, conversion rates — and help draw insights to optimise.
Be proactive: suggest ideas, test new channels, participate in growth experiments.
What We’re Looking For
Basic qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field. volvero

Strong interest in business development, startups, and B2B growth.

Prior exposure or internship in sales/marketing/business development.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, outreach tools, CRM platforms.
