Intrepid Cleaning are seeking experienced housekeepers to join our team for sites in the Perth metropolitan area, including Wembley and Karrinyup.

The successful applicant will be available to work 3-5 days per week between 8.30am-3:30pm. Weekly hours will be between 10-25 per week with the opportunity to take on additional hours on weekends or work evening shifts if desired.

Description of the role:

• Cleaning the interior of boarding houses including common areas and staff and student’s rooms.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and laundry fixtures and replenishing consumables.
• Emptying bins and removing rubbish.
• Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.
• Reporting any maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a hotel or other accommodation environment (minimum 2 years).
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to show initiative and problem solve.
• Current “C” class driver’s licence with your own vehicle.
• Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.
